At Saginaw Partnership Center Nest, our mission is to alleviate hardship for some of the most underserved individuals in the Great Lakes Bay Region. We address urgent needs and take the time to listen with compassion, connecting individuals with our local resources to help them overcome poverty. We work tirelessly to make this a reality.

Our vision for the Great Lakes Bay Region is to support individuals who are transitioning out of homelessness, domestic violence, or prison and have secured housing but are unable to afford furniture and household items.
We aim to restore dignity by providing essential items for living.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
We need Warehouse workers, sorters, giveaway teams, office help, truck help, help with picking up items, help putting items away, organizational teams, cleaning crews, many things for just about anyone to do - We would LOVE to have you!

Rooted in the call of Jesus and in partnership with the community, we work with individuals, families, friends, and neighbors in crisis by responding to specified needs and fostering opportunities for new beginnings.
We help people in crisis by providing a light at the end of the tunnel of unplanned circumstances

We bridge the gap in lives that are starting over again by providing help with:
Providing furniture and household goods to individuals transitioning out of shelters is a vital intervention. It dramatically increases housing retention, restores dignity and mental well-being, and diverts waste from landfills. We help transform empty dwellings into true homes, allowing families to focus on self-sufficiency.
Repurposing gently used furniture and household goods keeps thousands of tons of bulky waste out of local landfills.
Having proper beds and physical furnishings eliminates the physical toll of sleeping on the floor and lowers stress, anxiety, and depression.
Furnishings provide a space to cook, study, and invite visitors over, which reduces social isolation
Contributing to local charities allows residents to responsibily re-home items they no longer need while directly supporting programs that build up the local community.
